Kuwait v France, Spain 1982.
Sheikh Fahid Al-Ahmad Al Sabah, the president of the Kuwaiti FA and brother of the Kuwaiti Emir, didn’t enjoy watching Michel Platini’s France run up a 3-1 lead in their group game in 1982 – and, when Alain Giresse added a contentious fourth from a suspiciously offside position while Kuwait stopped, having thought they heard a whistle, he’d had enough.
The mad Sheikh blew his top and called his players off, then strolled down from the stands and on to the pitch in his full regalia to give the Russian referee a piece of his mental mind – at which point the referee disallowed the goal, apologised profusely and play was allowed to begin again.
France added a fourth anyway, just to annoy him even more.

حلت الكويت في المركز الثاني عربيا والـ 23 عالميا في قائمة اكثر الدول سعادة في العالم وفقا لنتائج استطلاع رأي اجرته مؤسسة جالوب الدولية في الفترة من 2009-2005 علما ان القائمة ذاتها تضم 155 دولة من دول العالم.
وفي الكويت اعرب %47 من الكويتيين عن نجاحهم في التعامل مع ضغوط الحياة في الكويت فيما بلغت نسبة المكافحين في مواجهة ضغوط الحياة %50 اما حصة الذين يعانون من ظروف الحياة المعيشة في الكويت فبلغت %
