Boutique ORA opened its door on Thursday 20th of December 2012 at Omniya Centre in Salmiya Salem Al Mubarak St.
The Boutique carries six exclusive brands in Kuwait all made in Italy by talented emerging and uprising Italian designers.
Carlo Contrada:
Already won the famous VOGUE ITALIA new designer to watch and since then he has been well appointed by various independent fashion magazines in Europe.
Isabel Benenato:
Southern Italy designer who has a unique edgy deconstructed designs working with her local influence by using a top notch natural elements like Italian pure wool and silk. But being graduated from Central St. Martin school of fashion in London gave her an international recognition within few short years after coming back to Milano and launching her own line under her name.
MISURACA:
Working for John Richmond already gives an easy A in the industry but that never stops there, The clean elegant cut of his designs that has a touch of a timeless glam makes all the difference from any other.
Avelon:
The oldest (Industry wise) but a brand that evolve around the glamorous rock and roll but yet not shocking wild. Using a mix of interesting materials like Viscos, Silk and wool makes it edgy for all type of women and ages .
Barbara Gongini:
Our gamble in the selection, yet we are so proud to carry this Originally Danish designer studied and working in Milano. Simple cotton material but extreme designs, the northern Europe influence of extravagant designs is absolutely what got us fall in (love).
A brand A part (Leather bags):
They say seeing is believing but in this brand case TOUCHING is believing!
Pure Italian handmade leather with almost few stitches makes those bags become your own personality almost attached to your own skin. The difference is the way the leather treated to make as soft as a baby skin or rough like a rubber.
Last but not least, ORA were a dream of two young men from different backgrounds but one passion and one dream. We believed that the fascinating change of consumer attitude toward fashion in Kuwait gave us a push and a sign that the market wants quality over quantity, a dress that represent uniqueness and rarity.
