Guest Writers Environmental & Q80 In Denver:Al-Sanawbar الصنوبر
Environmental: Today we decided to do a review for this lebanese restaurant. I’ve been a frequent customer to Al-Sanawbar ever since they opened. I used to go to Mais Al Ghanim and Villa Fayrouz for my lebanese food cravings, but after hearing the reviews (which were mixed) about Al-Sanawbar I decided to give it a try, and ever since that, I go there at least once a week.. one day I went there TWICE
Q80 In Denver: I actually find myself surprised by the number of people who doesn’t know Al-Sanawbar restaurant! It’s been almost a year since they open and they are located in a very crowded place .. near dewwar el bed3!
Environmental: I just love everything about them! I love their hummus, I love their hot bread, and there Chicken livers with “debs el roman” are the best I’ve ever tried in Kuwait! Villa Fayrouz’s is number 2 for me.
Q80 In Denver: I second environmental on the chicken livers .. tasty! Oo mako ezfara 3al a’7er! J Also you might want to try their garlic lemon chicken wings I think chicken wings lovers will like it! Last time, we tried to make a change with our usual appetizer so we ordered garlic shrimps instead of the wings and I was disappointed: / nothing special about it at all.. if you’re “Bo6a6a 7arra” lover and u liked bo6a6a 7arra from Villa Fayrouz then I believe you would be also disappointed .. The potatoes are big and marinated enough and some of them looked a bit burned! :/
Environmental: I used to get mixed grill in any Lebanese restaurant I go to. But in Al-Sanawbar I go for Cherry Kabab “Kabab Bel Karaz” without even thinking! I just can’t get enough of it! Last time we went, we tried Kabab Bel laban which wasn’t as good as Bel karaz. I’m not even a fan of kabab, but that dish made me one!
Q80 In Denver: I know that many people will feel disgusted to hear Kabab with karaz! Doesn’t sound good .. eeh? I know J but believe it or not, the taste is so different and so so so so good! The good thing is their kabab feels lighter than the usual kabab and the combination is definitely “the cherry on top” :p I usually like kabab bel laban but not in Al-Sanawbar .. I say stay away from it! Em’3argeena roob 3ala madre sheno .. Allah yezeed el ne3ma! :/
Environmental: I also liked their sheesh tawook and Tekka, basically all their mashawey = GOOOOOOD! And their prices are reasonable.
Q80 In Denver: I don’t like tekka from anywhere .. a7es cheny 7a6 3anchekak eb 7aljee :p so I’m not commenting on that :p
Final words:
Environmental: I LOVE AL-SANAWBAR!
Q80 In Denver: I might not agree with environmental on Al-Sanawbar being the best Lebanese in Kuwait but I would definitely would say that it’s one of the better Lebanese restaurants in Kuwait.

Doobz: As I said before, there are good things and bad things in Al-Sanawbar .. your experience will be judged depending on what u order .. Try the cherry kebab
iLsul6ana: Yeah the sheesha is a big deal and a big problem to some people .. the problem is many lebanese restaurants serve sheesha :/ in Al-Sanawbar smokers are placed in a different place that the others .. so I don’t know :p
Zweiz: If you’re coming from dewwar el bed3 heading to “Burger King” you’ll find a small right entrance after u pass “Ministry of foreign affairs” office.
NOTE: I noticed that there is a big difference between eating lunch and dinner at Al-Sanawbar .. LUNCH is much much better .. the service is better .. even the food is better!
