Really the fastest windows I've ever tried (and I've been around since windows 3) You just need to give it the maximum memory you can, same with vista. I never switched to vista coz nobody recommended me and I didnt really need to! but this time I might consider a move probably because I’m buyin a new laptop soon I will probably get it with windows 7! seriously everyone is happy with windows 7! its like a miracle that everybody is happy with microsoft :D so far I’m happy with my windows XP.
