محرك البحث الجديد Cuil يحتوي 3 أضعاف ما تحتويه جوجل

تخيل أن تستطيع البحث في 121,614,892,992 صفحة إنترنت (ما يزيد عن 120 مليار صفحة)  ، هذا ما هو مكتوب على الصفحة الرئيسة لمحرك البحث الجديد Cuil (ينطق كول Cool) . وتؤكد مؤسسة ورئيسة الموقع أنا باتيرسون Anna Patterson بأن هذا الرقم يزيد بثلاثة أضعاف عن ما يحتويه محرك البحث جوجل ، حيث أنها عملت لدى جوجل حتى عام 2006م وتعلم بمحتوياته . وقد أنشأ هذا المحرك مجموعة من مهندسي جوجل السابقين وهذا يعطي أنطباع بقوته  وقدرته على المنافسة . الموقع الجديد مدعوم برأسمال يبلغ 33 مليون دولار مما يساعد التطوير السريع له . الملاحظ على الموقع أنه يعرض نتائج البحث بأسلوب المجلات (اعمدة وصفوف) ويعتمد طريقة البحث والتحليل في محتوى الصفحة وهذا سينعكس في نتائج البحث إيجاباً . أعتقد بأن هذا الخبر سيجعل مايكروسوفت وياهو يفكرون مرة أخرى في الإندماج بعد زيادة حدة المنافسة . لزيارة الموقع انقر على الرابط.

Day 7.   I woke up feeling refreshed and energized, it was the best sleep i ever had in the best bed i ever   slept on. Today was a good day the weather was good, and the view from our  hotel room was amazing. We booked tickets  to go see the second most famous thing that vinece is known for is the Mvrano sculptures which is the most expensive  glass sculptures. Of course they had everything from colorful chandeliers to tiny glass beads. the tour took about two hours. At the begging of the tour they will start you off with a small demonstration of how to make a small sculpture (it’s not as easy as i thought you need to be very skillful). Then they took us to a building filled with the most amazing glass things i ever saw unfortunately i wasn’t allowed to take Photos so you have to trust me it’s worth going to.

After the Gallery we had some time to kill, so we headed for the shops, enjoyed the scenes, and ate lunch at burger king, after yesterdays cockroach thing we thought we better eat in a place that is  familiar  to us GOOOO FAST FOOD.  We went back to the hotel to get rid of the heavy bags from all the shopping we did, and also to freshen up for our evening out.

In the evening we enjoyed a quiet gondola ride and ending the day with the best dinner i ever tasted in my LIFE (of course we got the name of the restaurant from the concierge he recommends it , so we gave it a shot) and 7amdilla we did, it’s called  DO FORNI and i think it has a Michelin star, the meals were  great . Day 6. Woke up real real  early since it will take us almost 8 hours to get to Venice by car from Cannes. The previous day we went to the supermarket to get us some snacks for the trip which came real handy because at the time we were awake all the bakeries and shops were closed. The day was sunny and bright just what we hoped for. Our journey began with a stop to the gas station we filled up the car and left, and thanks to the GPRS it was very clear to us how to get to Venice . After almost three hours of driving we made another stop to use the bathrooms, stretch our legs, and to take a look inside the market. it had something i think if they would sell it in Kuwait it will fly of the shelves. IT’s a tiny espresso drink that came with a straw and everything, we tasted it and it was GOOOOOOOOOOOD, You  could finish this tiny drink with one gulp, and of course there are other goodies but i was too full to try them.

After a long long  drive with the added stops it took us about 9 hours not 8, we finally got to Venice . WOW the view  was amazing and the people were friendly. We had to park our car in a parking lot and had to take a boat to get us to our hotel.

Hotel DANIELI, that was the name of our hotel, it was soooooooo beautiful, the decor was an old veincian style, with high ceiling and mahogany wood all over the lobby. the doors of the rooms opened with a key instead of an electronic card. I know you probably thinking why would i carry a heavy key around that i might lose. You will not lose it because before you leave the hotel, you could give your key to the concierge and he will keep it safe till you get back. The rooms were cool and clean the bathrooms had everything from nail filer to warm fresh robs. I even tested their services i called to ask for an adaptor for my phone charger, i swear that as soon as i hung up the phone the guy with the adaptor was knocking on my door, what a major difference between the hotel in Cannes and this hotel.

After settling down and since our stay in Venice was going to be a short one 2 days to be exact, we didn’t want to waste any time. We quickly jumped on a gondola and took a quick look in the most romantic city in the world. We came across breath taking bridges, small shops that have their famous venican masks , and  an opera house as we passed by we could hear beautiful music and people applauding. I have no words to describe it.

After the gondola ride we felt hungry and went to dinner, OOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHh the restaurant we went to was disastress, i didn’t get the name of the restaurant. We ordered and everything, the food was ok as i was eating i turned to see my sister staring at her plate of spaghetti, i took a closer look to find a small cockroach in her food WALA i almost puked, my face turned green and we all stopped eating. EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. We ended our day strolling the streets and absorbing the views until we got to our hotel and i had the best sleep on the most comfortable bed .

DAY 5. After a very busy day yesterday we felt drained at we decided to take it easy and rest in Cannes and not drive around checking out new places. I over slept and woke up late in the afternoon, so we took a stroll along the sea side and sat down to enjoy our ice cream that we took from an ice cream stand and also to watch the people pass by. I saw three celebrities , two of which who are famous singers in the ARAB region and one international singer. so you’re wondering who are they well one is A7LAM the other is ELLISA and finally i saved  the best for last KELLY ROWLAND (from destinies child). i know day 5 wasn’t exciting as the previous days, but something exciting happened or should i say an exciting idea came up. WE  DECIDED TO GO TO Venice the next day if we found rooms in a good hotel. We quickly went back to the our hotel and found reservations to  an amazing hotel and booked the rooms on line, we were lucky to find available rooms in such short notice.  DAY 6 ROAD TRIP TO Venice you have to wait till tomorrow for the post and pictures.

Day 4. Shopping in the main road in Cannes, this time i got a lot of cool stuff from bags to shoes to dresses, it was like i was getting a work out, so i sat down in this cozy yet very busy cafe by coincidence, it was the best cafe I’ve went to since i came to France it’s called Volupte Anytime. Even tough they only served sandwiches, it was excellent i asked for the mozzarella and tomato  in case you were wondering, they also had desserts, i ordered the chocolate cake that’s what they called it but it looked like a piece of heaven on a plate to me, (by now I’m sure you know i have a weakness for chocolate) anyway i had two of these cakes ALONE i was so greedy because it was sooooooooooooo good i didn’t let anyone share a bite with me. They ordered a raspberry thing i didn’t like it that much. I ended the meal with Moroccan tea how can i say this i drank the whole tea pot. The tea was sweet without me adding any sugar to it they also filled the cup with raw pine nuts ( i guess this is the way they drink it in morocco) i know it sounds wiered but you should taste it if you ever got to go there.

It was about 6 P.M. and the shops around Cannes started to close, we all went back to the hotel to freshen up for our night out. We went to this amusement park in NICE which was about 20 min away from Cannes. ANTIBES LAND that’s the name of the park, we got there it wasn’t big it looked like a small carnival. they had games for kids and adults so you’ll enjoy it there as for me yup you guessed it i headed for the candy apple and sweet stuff i can never get enough. THEY had slush and it was all the colors and flavors of a rainbow. See for your self in the pictures bellow.

Final stop for the night a great place if your a night owl, it’s about ten min from Antibes, this place has cafes and resturants and other activities open till 3. AM they also have small markets at the sea side selling fantastic stuff  like earrings and necklaces.  there are also artist doing their  thing , this place is full of life especially on a SUNDAY. i forgot the name but I’ll update you as soon as i get it. There were two places that stood out to me, one was an ice cream shop (PINOCCHIO)they shaped their ice creams like flowers and a crepe shop (GRAND MARNIER) my aunt tasted the nutella crepe she said it was the best she ever had, too bad i was full and couldn’t eat a bite.

DAY 3.  We woke up early and left our hotel and headed to st tropez which was about a 3 hour trip from Cannes (we rented a car for all our trips), after reaching our destination we headed for the shops, i got 2 pairs of shoes and a very nice dress.  we also came across this candy shop they had the prettiest candies shaped like flowers and bears, and chupa chops the size of my head which costs about 8 KD.After a draining day shopping we had lunch at the famous  resturant club 55 ( we had reservations ahead of time other wise it’s impossiable to have a table there) your bound find celebritys there . Unfortunatly i didn’t see anyone it’s just my luck. NOW for my review on the resturant it wasn’t what i expected it was outdoors with bamboo umberellas all over shading you from the sun they also had a live band playing, as for the food it wasn’t great the best thing was the grilled bread and the charcoaled corn other than that it was OK.

After stuffing our faces we sat down in a cafe and enjoyed the sunset with all the  luxurios and most expensive yachts parked at the bay.

Day 2, after having my nasty breakfast we (my family and i) went strolling along the seaside enjoying the view of beautiful hotels and designer boutiques, and oh yes the sea. As i mentioned the weather was really hot and as we passed by the beautiful Carlton hotel we came across this icecream place where they also have amazing SLUSH flavors. I asked for the COLA one which was yummy and was exactly what i wanted to cool me down. They also had a three flavor icecream makeena but i didn’t have the chance to try it.

After the cola slush we started to feel hungry and it was about lunch time, we went to the  Carlton inter continental, it was ok i had the green salad, and the rest of my family had this prawns thing they said it was OK. After lunch we went to the hotel to rest because we planned to go to this amazing cafe called LE CAFE DE PARIS in monte carlo, monaco, which was about a 2 hour trip from CANNES, we got to this cafe it had amazing sweets on the menu, i was so confused i didn’t know what to order so i asked for the berry ice cream YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMM, in addition to the amazing ice creams the view was breath taking, it was dark and the lights from the hotels and cafes shined all over.

We ended our day in Monaco by having dinner in this local place called TIP TOP ( it wasn’t a fancy restaurant at all) but it had the best pizza in the city. I will leave you with pictures of the whole day, and you will know what i mean.

DAY 2, let me tell you a little about the hotel, first of all they took them 2 hours to check me in and after checking in they took me to my room where the hall way smelled like rotten peaches. When i got to the room the Air condition was not working and the bathroom floors had stains on them. Of course the first thing i did was wipe down the bathroom with dettol which i brought with me from Kuwait. As i was wiping down the bathroom the handle came of from the tub and it was rotten and  had things ( i don’t know what they were all that i can say was it was brown). In the corners they had spider webs WALLAH it’ felt like i was  living with Dracula. I called them to fix the AC, they sent me an electrician after an hour from my call. The electrician came and changed the filter ( which looked like it wasn’t changed for 3 years) after changing the filter the AC started to work OK. AS for the house keeping i always do this test to see how well they clean. the test is throwing a small piece of paper on the floor behind the trash can ( a paper the size of your small finger so whoever is cleaning the room would see it) and guess what  it was there the whole time i stayed there which was about 10 days. And the products that they keep for you in the bathroom had dust on them. NOW let me tell you about the complimentary breakfast, i usually have tea and biscuits, and they brought me my tea guess what was the cover of the tea pot AN ASHHHHHHHHHHHHH TRAYYYYYYYYYYYYY.

OH i Forgot to tell you one small detail it’s a four star hotel YUP FOUR STARS. (in France the four star hotel is equivalent to a five star hotel in the rest of the world, they don’t have five stars in France)

Day one, my flight was supposed to leave at night, which it did, it was on the Lufthansa  my destination was NICE FRANCE (it was the worst flight of my life it was horrible). First of all there was a delay in Kuwait for about a half hour. Second after bording , i got to my seat  in business class ( which was supposed to be a good and clean class,   but it was dirty, it was full of crumbs and stains that looked like puke. i ignored all that and sat anyway (EWWWW i know but the stains looked dry). Second of all i tried to sleep because since it was late and i had to stay in Frankfurt for  three hours before my  flight to nice i decided to go to sleep ( but the seat wasn’t working properly when i extended the seat it wouldn’t extend all the way it felt like i was hanging in the air, anyway in the middle of my beuty sleep the lights suddenly turned on in the whole cabin because they wanted to serve us dinner GOD. i mean i already had a great meal before i left, and some people needed to sleep not eat, and plus whoever was awake could open their personal light at their seat without waking the whole cabin for might i add a cold disgusting meal (est’3feralah). After the dinner ordeal i tried to go back to sleep with the lights on all over the cabin. As i started to doze of the flight attendant came rushing through the ilse trying to serve tea and coffee. As she was passing through she kept banging every seat she passed including mine with the refreshments trolly. SOOOOOOOO i had no sleep at all. THEY WERE NOISY, BOSSY and not punctual AND THE PLANE WASN’T CLEAN. AND YES DON’T GET ME STARTED ON THE BATHROOMS ( which i will not mention).in my opinion  British airways is the best.

I finally got to nice France,  heloooooooooooooo nice, the first thing i did was pass by my family and friends flat in this beautiful building that looks like the pyramids in the picture  above ,the weather was hot, but it was heat that you could handle. After saying hello, i had to go the hotel in CANNES (GRAY d’albion HOTEL) to check in, it took them 2 hours to check me in and as soon as i got to my room i slept through the whole day til the next day. i will tell you all about the hotel in another post soon.

hi guys i know it’s been a while since i posted anything and i promised to  post every other day but  WALLAH i had no time but i took pictures of everything interesting so all our readers won’t miss a thing. I’m going to start posting from today all that i experienced through out my vacation. So buckle up and  enjoy the ride.
